Methodology
The score is an educational readiness measure based on your answers. It is not a certification, audit, legal determination, or guarantee of security.
Section weights: Identify 10%, Protect 40%, Detect 15%, Respond 20%, Recover 15%.
Each answer is normalized to a 0-10 control score. Weighted section results form the overall score. Priority gaps appear when a weighted control is below 60%.
The minimum displayed score is 8 so a starting point does not look like a broken result. The action list is more important than the number.
